André Aciman on the BookPeople Podcast!

9780374155018_efe4d-2Earlier this month we had the honor of welcoming back to the store bestselling author André Aciman for a reading and discussion of his latest novel, Find Me. In it, he continues the story of Oliver and Elio that began with the smash-hit Call Me By Your Name.

It’s a title that our booksellers absolutely devoured (Read Rachel R.’s review here) and our customers couldn’t wait to get a hold of. Fans showed up in droves and even found room on the floor and in the most convenient nooks and crannies to partake in a splendid discourse on literature and love and the words that Aciman spins on the page.

Aciman was joined in conversation by American Short Fiction‘s co-editor, Adeena Reitberger, and their discussion is archived here to replay. Re-live the magic and, while you’re at it, grab one of the few signed copies of Find Me we have left at the store!

André Aciman is the author of Eight White NightsCall Me by Your NameOut of EgyptFalse PapersAlibisHarvard Square, and Enigma Variations, and is the editor of The Proust Project (all published by FSG). He teaches comparative literature at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.

Join us here next week for the next installment of The BookPeople Podcast where we’ll present an all new episode featuring an author talk we loved.
