Catch a replay of last week’s virtual conversation between Elizabeth McCracken and S. Kirk Walsh–Austinites with new books! McCracken’s The Souvenir Museum is a story collection featuring some her most vibrant and heartrending work to date, while Walsh’s debut novel, The Elephant of Belfast, is a bit of a historical thriller following the vivid and moving true-life story of a young woman zookeeper and the elephant she’s compelled to protect through the German blitz. Both titles are a glimmering display of what the Austin literary community has to offer and the pair’s conversation is even further proof.

You can re-watch the conversation now on our Facebook page. And be sure to grab your own copy of The Souvenir Museum and The Elephant of Belfast (if you haven’t already) from BookPeople. There’s still signed copies available!
