Spring is just around the corner, y’all! Thanks to daylight savings time we all have a little more light this week. What have we doing with all that extra sun, you wonder? Reading new books, of course! Here are a few titles we’ve been enjoying this week.
Wanderers by Chuck Wendig
If you’re reading this, that means it is now up to you to save the world. Black Swan has analyzed your life, your choices that led you to this moment, and it has predicted that it needs you. We need you. This book is an incredible portrait of late 2010s America, its dreams and nightmares, its id and its superego. Think The Stand meets Andromeda Strain meets The Grapes of Wrath–truly a masterpiece.

How We Fight For Our Lives by Saeed Jones
This book is a perfect depiction of what most queer POC deal with when it comes to hardships and struggles. Saeed is a very talented writer and is able to convey his truth in a powerful way.

The Mercies by Kiran Millwood Hargrave
Hargrave’s writing is sensual, and confident, and driven. She takes these places so alienated by time and circumstance and makes them as familiar as home. Gorgeous prose! Moody vibes! Lush, feminine feels! Need I go on?!

These titles and so many more can be found online or in our store! Happy reading, y’all!
