It’s summer now, and we know that means watermelon, lemonade, and vacation from all things school. But here at BookPeople, we wanted to take a moment and remember all our INCREDIBLE school visits from this past year!
During the 2015-2016 school year, BookPeople facilitated more than 100 events at more than 50 schools in the Austin area. We hosted Newbery and Caldecott medalists, local and national authors, and had an absolutely amazing time with ALL of them.

We are so lucky to have so many authors who come through Austin to inspire and interact with local students. Helping to facilitate that is one of the most rewarding parts of our mission as your community store.
