The first official trailer came out today for the high anticipated adaptation of Lois Lowry’s bestselling, dystopian before-it-was-cool, young adult hit, The Giver. With a cast full of heavy-hitting stars (Meryl Streep, Katie Holmes, Jeff Bridges), we can’t wait to see more.

I’m really excited to see how they portray the book in the film. The cast sure is amazing!
Not sure I would even know this was a trailer for The Giver if it didn’t say so. Excited regardless, but a little nervous.
Oh man. I need to hurry up and read this book. I’ve been meaning to read it, but I haven’t gotten to it. Now I have a new motivation to read it, I want to read the book before I see the movie.
