Did you unwrap a shiny new eReader this holiday season? Are you wondering how you can continue to support your local independent bookstore while reading digitally? Oh, it’s so easy!
As some of you may know (since we’ve been talking about it an awful lot), this year we launched a brand new partnership with Kobo, one of the largest ebook providers on the planet. BookPeople now offers access to Kobo’s library of over 3 million eBook titles through our website, bookpeople.com.
Kobo eBooks are compatible with any device, excluding Kindles. (Amazon’s Kindle devices will still only read eBooks purchased from Amazon, not from any other retailer.) Whether you have a nook, iPad, Sony eReader, or other eReading device, you can download Kobo eBooks via our website and support your local independent bookstore with your eBook purchases.
To get started, simply visit our website where you’ll click through to create a Kobo account and then follow step-by-step instructions to set up your eReader to download Kobo eBooks. In most cases, it’s as simple as downloading an app. Once you’re set up, you can start browsing eBooks on bookpeople.com.
If you have any questions, feel free to shoot an email to email@example.com. We’re here to help! Thanks so much for choosing to support your local independent bookstore. Whether you’re reading print or digital books (or in most cases, both), we’re happy to meet your book-loving needs. Here’s to a healthy, happy new year of reading!
