Help us bring holiday cheer to some very well-deserving local children by participating in our annual Giving Tree program! This year our Giving Tree will benefit children through the Storybook Project of Texas and Foundation Communities, two great organizations that help children with incarcerated mothers and children from homeless families in the area.
We encourage you to pick up a snowflake tag from our tree and select a book for a needy child. Each tag bears either the name and age of a child who would like a book for the Holidays, or a specific book request. Simply select a book and bring it with a snowflake tag to our registers, and we’ll get it wrapped and delivered. If you would prefer, you can make a direct donation at the registers, and we will select an appropriate book for you.
Last year, we were able to give out over 500 books through our holiday giving program. We are hoping to do even more this year with a little bit of help. Thanks for your continued support of this program, and happy holidays from BookPeople!
