Our new summer reading program for kids entering grades K-8 is in full swing! We’ve had many parents and young readers in the store picking up their bookmarks. If you haven’t picked up yours yet, no worries, there’s still plenty of time. Here’s what to do:
1. Come down to BookPeople and pick up your bookmark at our Summer Reading display (on the first floor by the information desk across from the stairs).
2. Read at least 3 of the books listed on the bookmark, and then up to three other books of your choosing.
3. Keep track of the books you read on that bookmark and hold on to it! You’ll turn in your bookmark at the end of the summer to claim your prize!
4. Come to one of our Summer Reading Celebrations on August 11 or August 18! At the celebration you will to collect your reward and proudly post your name on our wall of Summer Reading Stars. You’ll also learn about great books coming out this Fall and you’ll eat pizza!!! (If you can’t make it to a celebration, just turn in your bookmark to us by August 30th and you’ll receive your prize.)
5. Congratulate yourself for being a Summer Reading Superstar!
