Folks were lined up early this morning to get their hands on a copy of Simon Pegg’s new autobiography, Nerd Do Well, on sale nationwide today. We’re now handing out wristbands for his event here on Wednesday, June 15, 7pm.
Here’s how it works:
Through the end of our business day (11pm) tomorrow, Friday, June 10, you can buy your copy of Nerd Do Well in-store or online and have a wristband set aside for you along with the book. After 11pm tomorrow, we’ll only sell the book and hand out wristbands in-store. Why? Because we want to make sure that everyone who comes out next Wednesday can definitely buy a book and score a spot in line. The wristbands are for the signing portion of the event and are not required to hear Simon speak.
If you’d like a signed copy of Nerd Do Well but cannot make it to the event, please call us the day after the event and if we have signed copies left over, we’ll be happy to set you up with one.

We posted the BookPeople Q&A with the Peggster on Monday and yesterday announced a Simon Pegg Impersonation Video Contest where the winner will receive one copy of the book and the first spot in line for the signing next Wednesday.
