Only 5 days away! Elvis Costello will be here at BookPeople to speak about his new memoir, Unfaithful Music & Disappearing Ink, in conversation with Evan Smith of the Texas Tribune. We’re counting down the days to the October 20th event by looking back at Costello’s life in music.
Throughout his career, Costello has teamed up with tons of other musicians to play with sounds and see what their artist minds could come up with together. His collaborators include: Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Green Day, Mumford & Sons, and The Roots.
These collaborations (along with his expertly penned memoir!) prove how dynamic Costello can be. In Unfaithful Music (just released Tuesday), Costello describes what it was like to work with these musicians over the years. We’re especially enamored by his collaboration with The Roots:
