Biographile talked to Michio Kaku about his new book, The Future of the Mind, and the possibilities the future of physics and neuroscience may hold. “We might also be able to control robots with superhuman bodies (like in the movies “Surrogates” and “Avatar”) so that we can live on other planets, explore the heavens, work in dangerous environments, or have powerful exoskeletons like in “Iron Man.”
Vulture interviewed Lorrie Moore about her latest collection of stories, Bark. “There’s trauma in life, and then there’s a slight relaxation, and that allows for a recognition of how displaced you are. Pulling slightly away, you see this is crazy and kind of funny and also painful and horrifying.
The Airship followed the drunk adventures in Raymond Carver’s Will You Be Quite Please? “The craziest thing about tallying the drinks in these stories is that it hardly does the drinking justice.
