Last week we announced we’re excited to participate in Indies First, a nationwide initiative happening this Saturday, November 30 (aka Small Business Saturday) that welcomes authors to show their support of indie bookstores by volunteering to work in their local indie. Authors Jeff Abbott, Janice Hamrick, Owen Egerton, Manuel Gonzales, Ernie Cline & Kelly Luce will be here to help us out on the adult side, recommending books and helping customers shop (you can view the schedule of adult authors here).
Today we’re happy to announce that some of our favorite local children’s authors have signed on to participate, as well!
1pm – 2pm Mary Sullivan
2pm – 3pm Shana Burg
3pm – 4pm Jacqueline Kelly & Clint Young
Come down to the store and let an author talk to you about their favorite books for young readers! After their shifts up in our BookKids section, the authors will be available to sign copies of their books for anyone interested.
