National Launch Event for Timmy Failure!
Tuesday, February 26 at 7pm
Fans of Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Big Nate will want to meet the newest kids on the block, Timmy Failure! The creation of Pearls Before Swine comic artist Stephan Pastis, Timmy Failure is the clueless, comically self-confident CEO of the best detective agency in town, perhaps even the nation. With perfectly paced visual humor, Stephan Pastis gets your young reader snorting with laughter, then slyly carries the joke a beat further — or sweetens it with an unexpected poignant moment — making this a comics-inspired story (the first in a new series) that truly stands apart from the pack.
We’re very excited to host the official national launch for Timmy Failure right here at BookPeople! We’ll have giveaways and, most important, we’ll have cake!
