Thanks to the LA Review of Books, we now have this nifty video of George Saunders reading from Tenth of December here at the store last week.
We fell in love with this collection of short stories (along with a good portion of the reading public, we know). And we absolutely fell head over heels for Saunders himself when we met him. Friendly and no-fuss, he wins a blue ribbon for Easiest Author with Whom to Make Pleasant Conversation Before/During/After Event.
If you have not yet read the great Statesman piece about the book, we highly recommend it. Tenth of December is the official Statesman Selects pick for January (and it’s still January for just a few more days….) We also, of course, highly recommend picking up Tenth of December. We have a few signed copies on the shelf, while supplies last.
