Apologies, YA lovers, for the delay with Teen Thursday this week. Our YA blog manager is stuck out east as a result of Sandy (she’s doing just fine and expects to be home soon, have no fear), and this blogger totally forgot the day of the week. So, without further delay, here it is, Teen Thursday! (On Friday.)
This is a big Teen Thursday, too – we’re announcing our November Buzz Book! And the book we’re buzzing about this month is……
Colin Fischer
by Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz
Emily of the illustrious BookPeople Teen Press Corp reviewed the book:
“Colin Fischer is a fun YA mystery that appeals to all age groups. There’s an engaging cast of characters, from Colin the modern-day Sherlock Holmes, Danny the angry and attention-deprived little brother, their parents who want to help Colin but sometime get frustrated, even Wayne, who turns out not to be so bad. The book is funny, fast-paced and sprinkled with footnotes. If you’re looking for a laugh and a quick read, check out this book.”
Read more about the book, as well as Emily’s full review, over on the Teen Press Corp blog. You can grab the buzz book off our shelves or online at www.bookpeople.com.

Looks interesting! I’ll definitely have to check it out at my local library/
