We Only Know How Much We Love Elizabeth Crane

“While many authors are forced to make the choice between hilarious and heartbreaking, Elizabeth Crane pulls off an abundance of both within her latest novel, We Only Know So Much. What Franzen did for elites, Crane does for the rest of us; the Copeland’s story is an engrossing and emotional book, filled with empathy for each of its characters. The Copeland family is broken, but that doesn’t mean that they are beyond hope.” – Kester

This Thursday, July 19 at 7p BookPeople, along with American Short Fiction, will host a bon voyage party for the wonderful Elizabeth Crane, in honor of how much she will be missed here in Austin’s literary scene when she moves to New York and also how much we love her debut novel, We Only Know So Much. There will be much celebrating, with libations appropriate to such a thing, and good, groovy, literary times are sure to be had by all. You should come!
