We’re very excited to welcome Dan Rather to BookPeople this Friday, May 11 7p. He’ll be here to speak about and sign his new memoir about his long, remarkable career in journalism, Rather Outspoken.
If you’re planning on coming down to the store for this event, here’s what you need to know:
*The speaking portion of this event is free and open to the public. Wristbands are required for the signing portion of this event and are available only with the purchase of a copy of Rather Outspoken from BookPeople.
*We will begin handing out wristbands for the event when we open at 9:00am on Friday, May 11. Wristbands are color coded. After Rather speaks, we will call people up to have their books signed according to the color of their wristband.
*You must be present in the store to receive your wristband, even if you pay for the book in advance. We will not hold any wristbands and cannot make exceptions.
*Books will be personalized.
*In order to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to meet Mr. Rather in a timely manner, no posed photos will be allowed at the signing table.
