Every judge weighed in, and in the end, honors when to The Sisters Brothers by Patrick deWitt. Woo hoo! None of us picked it to win, but plenty of us loved reading this book and highly recommend it. It was one of Hoyt’s Top 5 Reads of 2011. Glad to see it go home with the title. Congratulations, Patrick deWitt, and congrats Teju Cole, as well, whose Open City really held its own all the way to the end.
