By now you may have heard that comedian Michael Ian Black is coming to Austin. Here’s what you need to know if you want to see him:
Sunday, March 4 7p – Alamo Drafthouse
Michael Ian Black will take part in a special evening of clips and conversation at the Alamo Drafthouse at South Lamar.
Tickets to the Drafthouse event include a copy of Black’s new book, You’re Not Doing It Right. There will be no formal book signing at the Drafthouse. As of this post, it looks like tickets to the Drafthouse event are sold out, but don’t quote us on that one, check in with the Drafthouse instead.
Monday, March 5 7p – BookPeople
This is your chance to meet the man!
Michael Ian Black will speak about & sign You’re Not Doing It Right here at BookPeople. The speaking portion of this event is free and open to the public. If you would like to meet Black and have a copy of his book signed, you must purchase the book from BookPeople. Beginning at 6p the evening of March 5, we will begin handing out wristbands for the signing line to people who have purchased their copy of Black’s book from BookPeople.
If you purchased a ticket to the Alamo show, you may have your book signed at the BookPeople event. Just bring your receipt and your book and we’ll give you a wristband for the signing line.
