What are you doing tomorrow night? Want to be our date? American Short Fiction is launching their Spring issue at The Highball tomorrow night. The launch party will feature poet Gabrielle Calvocoressi, actor and writer Elena Pasarello, and writer Neal Pollack. Tunes will be provided by local band Hello Caller. The party starts at 7p.
According to CultureMap Austin, “Highlights (of the new issue) include a gang of female bank robbers in gorilla masks, adultery, tornadoes and bright orange crabs that eat each other. Sound a bit dark? It is. It’s also totally awesome.”
This party is going to be totally awesome. We’ll meet you there. Word is there will be drink specials, so we’ll even be a cheap date.
