We are almost sold out of John Green tickets — we are closing in our last hundred seats. If you want to come to the event, click over and buy your ticket right now, or you might not be able to go. In fact, after tomorrow at noon, you’ll have to buy your tickets in the store or over the phone. And after 3PM Saturday, IF we have any tickets left, what few we have will only be available at the door. (And that’s a big IF!)
On the day of the event, the doors will open at 6PM. If you ordered your ticket online or over the phone, you will be able to pick up your ticket, book, and signing line wristbands at that time. Please be sure to bring ID and a copy of your order confirmation. (Order confirmation only needed if you ordered online.) If you purchased a ticket in the store you can redeem it for a book and signing line wristband at this time – please be advised that you MUST present your ticket with you in order to receive a book and wristband. Just a receipt won’t do it. We have to see the ticket.
Remember that in order to come to this event, you must have a ticket. If you want your friend to come along with you, then your friend has to have a ticket, as well, even if he or she doesn’t want to get anything signed. The ticket grants admission to the event (and gets you a seat and a book.)
Once you’ve received your book and wristband, you’ll be able to enter the auditorium and find your seats. Seats are not assigned. After the Greens have spoken, we will begin lining up for the signing line. We will only line up certain colored wristbands at a time. (For example, if the yellow with purple polka dots were handed out to the first people to pick up books, then this will be the first wristband color called to line up.) You cannot line up in the signing line until your color wristband has been called. You cannot line up with a friend if you do not have the same color wristband. The Greens will sign three items per wristband. Wristbands are first come, first served at the Westlake Center on Saturday. The earlier you show up once the doors open at 6p, the sooner you’ll be called up to get your book signed after the Greens speak.
This event is going to be busy and exciting, with over a thousand folks coming to see John Green. If you’re thinking about being one of them, don’t think any more. Act. Get your ticket today.
