Last night, Topher put on his Jedi robe and joined Ernie Cline, the 501st Legion, and a theater full of Star Wars fans at the Alamo Drafthouse for a charity screening of Fanboys. The event was organized to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
We’re thrilled to report that the spot we donated in our upcoming Jedi Training Camp earned $400 for the Society! Ernie Cline has a write up of this fabulous, successful event over on his blog. Big thanks to Ernie for allowing us to participate and help raise money for this important cause. If you haven’t picked up Ernie’s bestselling novel, Ready Player One, we highly recommend you get your hands on a copy. It was one of our favorite books of 2011.
