Deborah Harnkess’ novel Discovery of Witches is being adapted for the big screen by Warner Bros. (Our second floor Inventory Manager, Joe T., just picked up this book on a whim and devoured it in a little over a day. We had a lovely time when Harkness was here for an event last year and are thrilled to hear of the book’s success!)
Yesterday, Walter Dean Myers was sworn in at the Library of Congress as our National Amabassador for Young People’s Literature. NPR’s Morning Edition spoke with him and posted the interview.
