It’s here! The BookPeople Tote! We gave away 100 of these babies yesterday for Customer Appreciation Day. If you missed the freebie, don’t fret – they’re only $1.19. You’ll find them up front by our Greet Desk and also on a display by our registers, which is where you’ll find all kinds of fun BookPeople paraphernalia (coozies, bottle opener key chains, frisbees). The bags are an environmentally friendly alternative to the paper and plastic bags we hand out, and can be used again and again for groceries, trips to Barton Springs, to bring a particularly hefty lunch to work – you name it!

Our own Chris Hoyt designed the green typewriter shirt, and customer Kristine F. designed the dancing yellow book wearing cowboy boots. Both were mighty popular items over the holidays. We have them in both Men’s and Women’s sizes, and also have the dancing book in Kid’s sizes.
