Lidia’s new cookbook, Lidia’s Italy in America, is a companion book to her brand new series by the same name airing on public television. Many of us here are long time fans of Lidia’s earlier cooking show, Lidia’s Italy (I’ll never forget the first time I landed on the show – Lidia was making risotto, something I’d never had before, and now thanks to her I know that you do not leave risotto alone for a second – stir, stir, stir!)

If you keep up with Lidia on facebook, then you know she’s been traveling all over the country to meet fans and introduce them to her new cookbook. We’re lucky booksellers, indeed, to be able to welcome Lidia to Austin. Tickets are still available for her November 30th, 6:30p event, which will take place in the wine section of Whole Foods Market (6th and Lamar – right across the street from us.)
