We are big fans of Italian-American chef Lidia Bastianich and are thrilled that her publisher is sending her to Austin with her latest cookbook (she has many) Lidia’s Italy in America. Given that we’re right across the street from one of the largest purveyors of fresh and delicious food around, we thought it would be fun to team up with Whole Foods Market for this particular BookPeople event.
So here’s the deal: On Wednesday, November 30th, 6:30pm, BookPeople will host Lidia on the upstairs patio across the street at Whole Foods Market (at 6th and Lamar) in the wine section where she will sign copies of her cookbooks. Tickets are required to join the signing line and are available only from BookPeople. As of today, Tuesday, October 25th, you can come down to the store and buy your copy of Lidia’s Italy in America and receive a ticket for the signing line. Tickets are distributed only with the purchase of a copy of Lidia’s Italy in America from BookPeople.
