This Wednesday at 7pm MysteryPeople, BookPeople’s mystery bookstore-within-a-bookstore, welcomes a fabulous duo, Sophie Littlefield and Juliet Blackwell. Sophie’s popularity has skyrocketed with her Stella Hardesty series, about a middle-aged Missouri woman who moonlights as an avenging angel for women done wrong by the abusive men in their lives. Juliet will bring the latest in her Witchcraft Mysteries that mixes mystery, humor, and the occult.
We’re making it a party because, well, do we really need a reason to throw a party? How about because these women are awesome mystery writers and we’re thrilled they’re teaming up here on our turf? We’ll have wine, live music from Comanche Club, and of course Crime Fiction Coordinator Scott wearing the lampshade, swinging from the chandelier and generally leading us in a rollicking good time.
