Who loves short shorts?
American Short Fiction does. And they read them, too. Summer is already in high gear in central Texas. Isn’t it time to celebrate the shorts that make it all a little more bearable?
This Saturday, Austin’s own ASF presents Salute Your Shorts!, an evening of dangerously short fiction. We love ASF here at BookPeople–check out the brand new issue that just hit our shelves.
Readings will include Sophie Rosenblum, Kelli Bland, and stories from ASF’s online short short series. Come out and drink free beer, enjoy live music by Jesse Woods, and listen to some short shorts. (If you were looking for a special occasion to sport those new cut-offs, this is it.)
