As soon as I finished reading The Little Book by Selden Edwards, I had to shuffle some things around in my head to make room for it on my Top Five Favorite Novels of All Time list. It’s almost impossible for me to describe how incredible this book is – it is about time travel and philosophy and true love and Freud and baseball and rock-n-roll and war and music and Vienna at the turn of the century. And more. The Little Book is one of the most refreshing, inventive and positively delicious novels I’ve ever had the pleasure to read.
