Patsy Walker, A.K.A. Hellcat! Vol. 1: Hooked On A Feline

By Kate Leth:

Wow, this book was the perfect lighthearted graphic novel read. Kate Leth’s writing is fun, full of puns, and absolutely delightful. Patsy is so relatable and lovable, as are the rest of the cast of characters we meet (okay, maybe I’m bias, but I also just really love She-Hulk). This book is fun and cute and you’re guaranteed to laugh.

Strange the Dreamer

By Laini Taylor:

A magical book with writing that takes your breath away. Taylor’s style is other-worldly and stunningly beautiful! A mixture of gods and mystery—a MUST read.

Gregor the Overlander: Book 1

By Suzanne Collins:

When eleven-year-old Gregor falls through a grate in his laundry room with his baby sister, Boots, he finds himself in a world full of giant bats, cockroaches, rats, mice, spiders, and a strange race of people called Underlanders. An uneasy alliance stands between all of the creatures of the Underworlds and a war is brewing. Gregor only wants to return home, but he finds himself wrapped up in a quest to stop the Underworld from falling into chaos, but will he succeed? This is becoming one of my favorite series!
